Josh Martin has been playing guitar for 9 years. He sacrificed his social life through out grade school in order to maintain a strict practice regimen, which included an array of interesting and unexplored techniques. Josh eventually became known for his innovative style, having influences ranging from Björk to Pat Metheny to The Mars Volta. After high school, Josh toured the country with a progressive rock band called Estrela and then later relocated to Atlanta where he is currently studying guitar at The Atlanta Institute of Music. He stays busy playing with as many projects as possible, one of them being The Brock Scott Quartet, which is a combination of ambient jazz and acoustic folk music.
