The guitar lessons went very well. My daughter thanked me at the end, which lets me know she liked it in "teen talk". I appreciate that you guys come to us, I have two toddlers and that makes it so convenient. Paul was excellent and very patient. My daughter looked very comfortable when I peeked in on them. My son Ben started electric guitar lessons five months ago through Vision Music and it's been an even better experience than anticipated. Our instructor is not your regular "learn these chords" guy. He's fun, very talented, has a laid-back style and lets Ben choose his own songs to learn.

Then as they work through the songs, he teaches music theory, timing, finger picking, progressions, string bending and other "cool" things that have really grabbed Ben's interest, all the stuff that's crucial to understanding "music as its own language." Our Instructor brings his own guitar and amp so he can demonstrate and so they can jam together between the official learning. Highly recommended!

Private guitar lessons for our son through Vision Music was a great idea — not only because of the obvious reason that he is learning to play such a dynamic instrument, but he is also becoming self-disciplined and is developing a healthy sense of accomplishment in the process. His instructor is patient, kind, fun-loving and has an awesome relationship with our son Kylan. In his approach to teaching, he helps to instill in our son the belief that he is capable of accomplishing anything and this way of positive thinking has manifested in areas beyond guitar lessons. I really like taking guitar from my Vision Music instructor because he makes it fun. He lets me help decide what he teaches me, like which songs rock or blues, along with the theory stuff Also, he knows what he is doing with a guitar, and is good at sharing it with me.

I'm a singer/songwriter who has always been interested in learning to play a couple of instruments... guitar being one of them. Vision Music has stepped in and made that desire a reality. The lessons are rewarding on so many levels. The curriculum encompasses both theory and methodology at a logical pace. I had an instructor years ago but he didn't do much besides overwhelm me with technical ability. Vision Music is well balanced. You receive lessons from the start so immediately you're interested in progressing. The lessons are structured in a fashion that I gradually developed dexterity, a sense of pitch and rhythm as well as a clear understanding of music theory. Vision Music has made it possible for my son and husband to learn to play the guitar together while teaching my son the love of music.
